"The C&C Heat Machine"

FIRE AND SKULLS - A RECIPE FOR HAPPINESS

So Roy Chamberlin's working in the shop at at C&C Cycle when in walks Conrad Filbert looking to get a few mods made to the custom bike he bought somewhere else. "And," Roy asked casually, "what would you like done?" He wasn't prepared for the fervent tirade of ideas that flowed from Conrad's mouth like beer at a frat party. If you had to sum up their strategy in one word, it would be "long," as in stretched gas tanks, stretched dash and West Coast Choppers fenders that are longer than the ones they replaced.

But if there's one aspect of the bike that Conrad and Roy are most proud of, it's Dave Basil's skull paint job. All told, the customization process took six months and ended with a happy Conrad, a tired Roy and the fire-engulfed red beauty depicted herein.
