"Hers - A C&C Bagger for the Lady"
Margaret Nicastri is a lucky lady by any definition. She has her very own Bagger, her husband is the owner/ operator of C&C Cycle, and she lives in Bowie, Maryland, home to the Huntington Railroad Museum and the class-AA Bowie Baysox. C&C Cycle continues to do well producing custom billet components for American motorcycles and complete turnkey machines. With her husband's help, Margaret's FLHTCUI was expertly revamped in less than four months. She rides it to her heart's content. The bike, named "Hers," really is hers.
All the fabrication and assembly was done by Margaret's husband, Roy, and all that pretty chrome comes courtesy of the folks at Meclec. That oh-so-pretty paint and graphics layout was applied by Artistic Creations, located in Bowie. It's Pearl Blue with black and silver outlined in magenta and baby blue. The Frenched front turn signals are blacked out for a stealthy look up front.
It looks good, and it has great speed potential as well. The Screamin' Eagle Twin-Cam has 123" of displacement and 10.5:1 compression Pro-Twin forged pop-up pistons for exceptional acceleration. Lifters are from Feuling. Zipper's Performance Redshift cams spun via S&S gear-drive hardware work with a Zipper's Thundermax fuel management system to wring the maximum amount of ponies from those big bore, diamond-cut cylinders. The cylinder heads have been ported and polished. and they now host two-inch intake valves.
Harley-Davidson air-ride suspension components on both axles keep the ride comfortable. The frame has been treated to some extensive molding, and all the wires and cables are routed through the backbone to maintain an uncluttered look. The front fork is from H-D with Perse sliders and a hidden axle added
Wheels are Weld Racing "Newport" style. (Margaret picked them out herself.) A 140/70X18 Metzeler tire is mounted up front, while a Metzeler 200 brings up the rear. Accessories include Wild 1 handlebars; an Azure headlight; a Frenched taillight assembly and license plate mount; a Russ Wernimont Designs front fender; and C&C Cycle mirrors, 02 sensor covers and underside floorboard covers. The popup gas cap dash is also a C&C item, and note the C&C triple host line/cable clamp, which keeps thing neat.
